Factory Assembly manuals

I have a reprint of a 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 assembly manual. Mine is 376 pages. In the corners of the diagrams it says “manual section” then a number throughout the book from 1 - 14. Then it says “Page” and a number. In my book it skips numbers. Did they reprint only what they thought were the important pages? We’re there really 14 original factory manuals with consistent page numbers in each? I came across this trying to reference where certain clips are used and a diagram referred me to a page I don’t have. Thanks. —Billy

These are re-collected compilations of assembly processes, and were individual sheets in sections. This is why they are reprinted. I think everything that is known is included, but some things got deleted or supplanted, and some may have been lost to time. It's not like the csm or body books.

It’s this reprint book. There’s no publisher info in this book. —Billy

I'll vouch for that! I have one and not only is it more complete but you can read everything on every page, unlike some of the reprints offered for sale.

Count me as another satisfied customer. Paul's copies are head and shoulders above any others.
