77 ninety eight tempmatic a/c vacum correct line routing
I thought it since many people have issues with a.c. Venting from dash. Mine was only from floor and I had many suggestions from dash removal to programmer rebuild. What i found was previous owner had removed and now reconnected mis directed vacuum lines in engine compartment.
Here is what I found and it corrected all the issues from hot/cold to vent issues
4 vacuum lines come from inside through firewall to engine compartment
1) long gray line to vacuum on water valve
2) long black line to main manifold source on engine
3) short black line to large connector on vacuum ball (top)
4) short purple line to small.connector on vacuum ball (bottom)
This may only be for tempmatic versions I am not sure. But hope this helps
Repair was zero.dollars undoing the bad work of someone else.why does it seem we spend.more undoing someone else guesswork.?
