330 to 455 component swap
I am swapping out the 330 in my 1965 Olds Wagon for a 1970 455 and need some information on the interchangeability of the front brackets that mount the A/C compressor, alternator, power steering and motor mounts from the 330 to the 455. The 455 is basiclly a long block and has no accessories on it.
I have seached the forums and the internet for the answer but have not really found one that fits my question. Can I use the existing 330 brackets or do I have to buy different ones for the 455? I plan on running aftermarket intake, headers, carb and distributor so that is all taken care of. Any HELP you all could throw my way would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not an expert with the 330 motors, can you post photos of the engine you now have and the brackets on it? If all else fails, the 455 brackets are more common than the 330's. You probably could sell the ones you have and buy the 455's breaking even or coming out ahead a buck or two. What year of car are you working on? It sounds like it has AC and power steering. John

Don't forget about the spacer on the bottom of the p/s bracket on the bottom of the block.
