Fender tire gap

Different wheel and tire will do the trick. You if you want the rim face to be flat, the suspensions on these cars were not designed that way so you would be looking at something a bit more invasive to try and make that happen.

Get some good aftermarket rims and tires and drop the 14X7 225/60 wrong size look!
A 15X7 with a 235/70 is a big tire or a 245/60/15 looks good also.
My all time favorite on anything is a 225/70 white letter tire.

Do you have any clue what I should look for when I buy new rims and tires?cause right now I have 9 inch wide tired and wanted to go to 12, but I want the tired to come out further pretty close to the fender because right now it's set in so far. So I'm stuck on that right now

Your best bet would be to go to a shop that does a lot of aftermarket wheels and have them do some measurements and maybe a test fit to see what you can get away with.
12" of tire is quite a bit and you need to be sure that the tire will clear not only the lip of the fender, but the inner fender as well.
