Got my Gate and Go also. Plan to be there with my Alero on the Saturday.

Program booklet is already posted if you want to plan.

Saturday was a downpour, so I bailed till today. Today was heavily overcast, but at least no rain. Very few cars on the show field or vendors left, even most of the food vendors were closed Did still see some cool cars in the invitational building displays. When was the last time you saw a Chevy LUV truck, let alone four of them! My son and I still had fun. Some pictures:

Thanks for the report Tom. I was wondering how it would be on Sunday. I guess Saturday is the big day for cars. A few years ago I went on a Friday and it was pretty dead.

Saturday is the big day as it is judging day. Unfortunately this year, Saturday was the worst weather of the three days. I have been one time on Friday years ago and was a bit dead for show field cars, but rest was full. I could not go on Friday this year, so only chance was Sunday, so decided to give it a try. More dead than normal for Sunday I heard, but that's because a lot of vendors packed it in on Saturday. Luckily I was not searching for any parts. Everybody left starting closing up at 1 as that's when the winners parade starts. With next year's show to have two special Olds displays, hope Saturday is beautiful.

I didn't make it this year as planned. Ran short of $ and had to make a trip to NJ on the day I planned on going. Besides that, with the exception of a shower (the kind where you wash your hair and body) I absolutely HATE being wet.
