Best aftermarket sbo hei distributor

HI Guys,

What HEI distributor with coil on top would you recommend for a 71 350 sbo daily driver with AC?

Thanks for the input.

I can't say anything about aftermarket ones. I have a couple GM HEIs that I bought from members either here on on ROP and I am very happy with them.

Davis unified ignition wil custom taylor an hei for your specific needs. Curved and set to go. I have a proform curently and it has served me well for 7 years it cost less than the D.U.I HEI but for my next build I'm going custom set up from D.U.I.

Proform is a good HEI I had one on my 69 chevelle. HEI you do not run a separate coil it is built into the unit. If you want an electronic ignition with a coil for a more stock look I just bought a PerTronix Flame Thrower II distributor and coil. The also sell stock appearing wires as well.
