Help keying out application for air cleaner housing

Hi all
While looking for some other parts I came across a stash of air cleaner housings up in the rafters of the garage. Its easy to put things up there and totally forget about them I've got two of these and I believe they're from full sized cars and I'm guessing 1969. But before I offer them up for sale I'd like to make sure I've got the application right. They have decals instead of ink stamps on the side, it looks like the two letter code is OR. Can anybody verify if I'm on the right track thinking these are 1969 Old 98 or maybe Olds 88 equipped with the 455? In addition, there's an ink stamp on the inside of the element that I've always thought was a date stamp. Is that correct? If so, I'm not sure what the 2 stands for, but the second I'm thinking is the day of the year followed by 69 for 1969. John

Then the second one also has OR in the sticker, but a different shape in the air cleaner base. Here's a view of the area without the bump and what I'm thinking is the date code.

Thank you for the info. The top decal did say 455 but the lid could have been swapped or even a replacement decal put on years ago.

Thermac near snout end rules out '68, as does PCV hole in RH side.

Added piece forming snout flare rules out BB/HC/442

Isn't there an inked 2-letter app code and/or 6-digit PN ?

Hi Chris
There's a decal on the side rather than an ink printed on it. The decal has a two letter code and the 6 digit number printed on it. But its kinda faded, so it looks like the two letters are OR and I can't make out the part number under that. Do you recognize the OR code?
