Electric fans Part 2

I got my fans working, it took forever because I have been a little burned out on the car these days, it was a large job to put in the fans, controller, and the 150 Amp charging system all at once, I also put a set of 2 5/8 gauges in so I could see better what was going on under the hood.
I installed a Derale fan set that pull over 3000 CFM and a Painless fan controller, Power Master 150 Amp alternator and have to say it works perfect.
It works so well I can't believe it. The car warms up to 180 the fans kick on and cools down to 170 in about 4 minutes and the fans kick back off. I find that after shut down the temp goes up to 190 like it always did and on start up the engine immediately cools back down to 170 and then builds back to 180, never did that before.
I know it's not a 100 outside right now but the stock system never worked this well. This is also all on low speed for the fans it has not gotten hot enough for them to ramp up on high speed.
Another side benifit is without driving that engine driven fan the car fells like it picked up some HP, today I was on my way to work and stood on it in first and shifted to second and it didn't just chirp the rear tires it completely broke them loose and slid sideways about a foot and just hauled ***. So I would say this was a worth while upgrade.
So to all that preach stay with the stock set up I would have to say, not always.
This was expensive and took a lot of work but was worth it.
