Why aren't prices listed in the classified?
I was wondering why the prices aren't listed in the classified section. Some forums won't let you post a classified if the price isn't included. Just wondering.

How easy is it to list a price?? Unless your asking too much or to get a feel what some sucker will offer. And if you have to bump an item your selling to the top one too many times - it isn't a rare part anyone needs or your asking a price that's in the stratosphere. I see one person here that needs to bump an item he has for sale for A YEAR AND A HALF!! Get a frekkin clue! Rant over

"Guidelines for the "For Sale" Section: PLEASE READ
When you post something for sale please include your location and your requesting price. Also include pertainent data like shipping/delivery options.
Example,
1970 big block C heads, original, not modified. $200 obo. Fairbanks Alaska. $15.00 shipping anywhere in lower 48 states. Call me at 123-456-7890. My wife will answer, ask for Hugo Montenegro."
This is stickied in both For Sale sections. Some people just can't follow guidelines. Too badass or something...

They are suppose to list the prices. The moderators used to remind people to post prices, but I guess we got busy doing other things and let it slide
I've both bought and sold a lot of parts on this site. I've found that posting a price, your location, a good description and including pictures can make all the difference between a part selling or not.

The reason I'm asking this is that I'm thinking of selling my 28 Ford speedster and getting a Hurst Olds. In checking the Cars For Sale section I doubt the 1 or 2 in 10 had the price listed so I don't know if I'm viewing an ad for a $2500 car or a $25,000 car. Very frustrating.

I don't know what the rules are here about listing prices, but I've always been told that, if I'm going to sell something, to list my price. If anything, it provides a start point, and maybe even an end point if the price is listed as "FIRM". Some people don't like to list a price, though. Why, I don't know,. And, for me, if there's no price, well, I usually don't even inquire.
