Just for idea's, does anyone make a chrome radiator cover for the Olds? I have looked around and have found only every other brand. 70-72. Maybe aluminum?
Thanks

I had one a few years ago. I think someone had it chromed though, as it was a original piece. It was a bit rusty/crusty when I got it. I've never seen another one, but I would think any chrome shop could do it.

Given the potential market size, no. Just have yours chrome plated.

Thanks. Just what I thought. Just looking for ideas as all the chebby's etc are eye appeal at local shows. I would still like to save my original. Of course I could always blast it off. Not a problem. Just was looking. Here is what I have going now under the hood. The electricle wiring still needs cleaned up. the last photo was 1 month ago. Opinions are welcome.

Yeah, just like bodily orifices, everybody has one...

(Not that THAT'S ever stopped me, of course.)

Personally, I'll take zero maintenance powdercoat over chrome and polish any day. Did you see any chrome on Warren Johnson's Pro Stock cars? As the old saying goes, "If it don't go, chrome it."

That engine compartment
looks great to me.
I think a chromed rad top plate
would take away from the engine personally.

Yeah I think it looks good, maybe some radiator seals, as it looks 'unfinished' in that area and a keep your GM car all GM sticker or similar on the current cover if that's your thing but overall looks good as is

I'm not really in to stickers, but the radiator seals are a great idea. I'll check in to them.
I was just tossing the cover thing around, and now am leaning on leaving it alone. Thanks all.
