Question What have you done to your Oldsmobile today

I'm a member of another forum that has a thread similar to this one. I'd like to start one here. It's been great over there, seeing all the projects other guys are up to every day! Anything goes as long as it's something you've done to your Oldsmobile. Pictures are always a plus if possible.

I'll go 1st. Today I ordered a new Accel replacement HEI dizzy, Taylor wires and an SMI Q-jet for olds/buick...

I dropped my rebuilt engine and tranny in the cutlass last night. Will be doing the passenger side header, and hopefully hang my new exhaust tonight

I kinda thought so, but she refused to be seen in the car with those on (they're vinyl-magnetic), said they were "dorky". I have to cancel plans for a set Radir wheels and bat spinners as well.

Removed the drivers side exhaust manifold, waiting for the FedEx guy to show up today with the replacement manifold that "pavemobile" provided for me at a very reasonable cost from a "parts wanted" posting last week!

Drove my 71 to get it's NY inspection. I just got the car out of 18 months of storage! I was a little nervous driving it with the old gas still in it. Stalled 3 times on the way home but otherwise ran good.

Drove mine to the shop(top down) and am having the carburetor looked at for gas leak down. I can only stand for a few minutes because of bad knees so my guy will look it over...Tedd

I drove mine to work! Bad idea we have new construction on our lot and it's mainly a dirt surface. Major dust on the car when I got out of work, so after the gym and dinner was nice hand wash.

BTW, I hate how the vinly roof and trim trickles water down the quarters for the next five hours

If you want to keep the interior nice you better leave the sundaes alone and go for Dilly Bars next time.

Drove it like I do EVERY day and fixed my nemesis - the ashtray for the (hopefully) third and final time! That is the most annoying rattle when it loosens up! I'm working my rattles one by one! I have one more coming from the back somewhere - sounds like the tension rods in the trunk, but I can't replicate it when it is sitting still! Aaaaargh!

Sold my old house today. The buyer closed at 3pm. It funded at 5:20pm. Between those times I was moving both the 67 Cutlass and the 76 442 to the garage in the new "old" house which up until now has been the home remodeling work space. Of course it was raining the entire time so both Oldsmobiles got a very rare drive in the rain.

Will do, I have a problem with posting pictures though. I use my ipad because it is really handy to have out in the garage, I can take pictures look up manuals on wild about cars for help etc. For some reason though when I use it to post pictures it only does 1 at a time even if I upload 3 or 4 it only posts one. Its very frustrating. Maybe someone can chime in on that.

I finished sanding the instrument panel to remove the crappy rattle-can paint job the previous hack performed. I repaired and re-attached the trim that had come door and 1/4 trim panels and have the passenger side refinished from parchment to black.

Have to travel a long road on this car... miles and miles to go before I sleep

Walked by the 54' I looked at it and prayed the virgin sheet metal would not be beat to death by soft ball size hail........All we got was heavy rain.

Need to play musical cars bad and get a 77 C10 out side and this inside
