Bob Gerometta's Wild About Cars Engine Modification and Tuning Guide

Could someone inform me of any imperfections or corrections that I need to write down and revise in my manual?

It's a pretty neat book, I like it. Way slimmer than lugging around my Motors Manual books around the shop.

I have a copy of this as well. It is a good book. It was very informative when I rebuilt my 455. I didn't know there might be errors in it.

Yo guys - I am a member of this forum. If you do find some "errors" in the book - why not tell me - then I could correct it.

Say this - the hobby is always changing - and new things come along. Every year, I try to review the book and add in new things or product updates.

More than likely - you will find some people with differing opinions. All I can say is that this is the stuff that works for me. Typos, bad sentences - that could be true - after all there are 300 thousand words and over 500 pictures in there so . . .

Let me also say this I cover printing and mailing with the cost and put maybe . . . maybe $5.00 in my pocket on each. With all the time and energy I spent on it - I can assure you I'm losing money :-)

As I said in my forward - I just wanted to get the word out - been doing this for 45 years - figured someone ought to get the benefit before I die.

And just to add the relavent information:

Looks like the Oldsmobile Engine Modification and Tuning Guide, Book Three – Small and Big Block V-8s from 1964 to 1987 is $24.95 plus $4.95 shipping (Why can't you just say "$30 shipped"? ), using this order form or at WildAboutCars (or you could probably just PM jrzybob).

- Eric

Thanks Eric. If you are a wild about cars member, you can go to the WAC store and order it and save $3.00.

Thanks for stopping in, and thanks for putting the book together. 2 thumbs up from me.

I'd like to completely stay away from the "opinion" aspect. I am only concerned about incorrect numbers.

I don't care about typos.

Just wanted to make sure no one has come across a bum number anywhere yet since the book has been released.

One can never have too many Olds books. People use to knock Joe Mondello but at the time his manual was the only one out there. I'll never forget the first time I talked to him on the phone in the mid 90's. I'll be getting your book. Thanks, Ken

Yo! Jersey Bob! I think the last time I saw you was at the OPC national meet in Charleston, WV, long about 1988. (Seems like you showed up in a 5.0 Mustang...) Anyway, it's nice to see you're still at it!
