Jeanette SPAM?

here is a copy of a private messege from this member??? What do you think? Spam or Not Spam? who would I contact about them?

Hi,I'm new here, how's it going?"Buddhism has the characteristics of what would be expected in a cosmic religion for the future: it transcends a personal God, avoids dogmas and theology; it covers both the natural & spiritual, and it is based on a religious sense aspiring from the experience of all things as a meaningful unity" - Albert Einstein---Jeannettehttp://www.freewebtown.com/kebesz

I' d say anything religious is automatically spam.
I think that is awful that this happened to you, especially since you offer to help out and willingly allow people to contact you for advice.

I got the same message from this person. I think it's spam. I mean think about it, this is an automotive forum and now were getting PM's about religion? S-P-A-M. I hope one of the moderators sees this and takes action about it.

Glad I'm not the only one that's been contacted by this person.

Any Moderators out there seeing this??

I figured I wasn't the only one who rec'd that. Somehow buddhism doesn't seem to go w/ Olds.

Dear Jeanette, my Oldsmobile has it's own religion. Please keep yours on a more appropriate website.

Yep, I got that PM also.

Then checked out the website she supplied.

It kinda reminded me of a John Prine song, "God save us please, she's nailed her knee's to some drug store parking lot........."

Go lay down, Jeanette

I expect everyone got it. I've studied the Eastern religions some, and some of it makes a lot more sense than mainstream Protestantism (even our preacher references the Dalai Lama on occasion), but I think I'll stick with being a Methodist.

When you're descended from THAT Wesley family, that kinda goes without saying.

Jeanette spam

I got it also and noticed that under her name that she is banned so that goes to show you that religion has a place and here it isn't. We all have our own prefferance as to religion and it can cause a lot of disscusion but remember that is the number 1 reason for wars.

Her message is SPAM of course, and I hae no plans to visit her website. BUT the Eintein quote was accurate. He had some great quotes, here are a few of my favorites:

“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe.”

"Whoever undertakes to set himself up as a judge of Truth and Knowledge is shipwrecked by the laughter of the gods."

"If you are out to describe the truth, leave elegance to the tailor."

Strangely enough, there is a connection.

A 1991 song by "The Men" called "The Church of logic, sin, and love"

It's about some kids in an old oldsmobile that stop at that freakshow on I-10 (in dragoon valley Arizona) called "The Thing".

It goes "It's the kind of place where space explorers could have landed around 1963, when Kennedy was in Life magazine, and everything was aqua marine"

There used to be billboards for that place for MILES.

I received the same email. I also received one from someone contacting me about a steering wheel I had for sale. Once I logged on to read the message, there was none! So if any of you wanted to know about the steering wheel, It's sold!

Your a Wesley? If so that's kind of ironic since I got my 442 from my good friend who is a Wesley and methodist as well.
