bodywork i have done**non Olds**
i am new to the site... thought i would post this here since it isnt an Olds and i dont have privileges to the rest of the site to post... below are pics of a car i did work on and a scheme i wanna somewhat put on my fiance and myselfs 1985 Olds Cutlass Supreme Sedan... i am thinking of doing a metallic pea green body with a darker emerald green stripe with silver marble sprayed with a candy green on marble...

the marble look was done by doing all the bodywork on the car and getting it primed, then block sanded numerous times...
i then figured out where i wanted the stripe and sanded it
i layed down a base of color of what the rest of the car was gonna be
then the stripe was masked out and shot with marbelizing paint in a kind of light coat
then here is the trick, lay on some saran wrap after the marbelizer set for a couple minutes with a partner and get it to stick to the marbelizer
peel the saran wrap off and reapply marbelizer again and saran wrap...
the saran wrap needs to be pulled at a 90 degree angle carefully and depending on which way you pull you see the effect.
let the marbelizer set for 15 minutes then hit it with candy transparent red
i let the stripe set for the night then fine sanded and masked and papered the stripe
then i painted the car and removed the mask over the strip and followed that by clear
