No, and the reason why is styling. Note how on the 1970 (and also 71-72 cars) the scoops line up with the split grilles. The single grille on the 68 doesn't lend itself to that styling. There are aftermarket W-25 style hoods for the later model Cutlii and while those cars do have split grilles, the hood scoops still don't line up. There's even a company that makes a W-25 style hood for the 88-98 Chevy pickups and I was considering getting one for my dually until I saw it installed on a truck. The twin scoops just don't look right with the single grille opening.

No, I've never seen one like that. The 68 Hurst Olds had the air intakes below the bumper. Some 69's too if I remember right. The W25 OAI hood styling was very popular with the 70-72 models, but was part of the evolving style on the hoods that lined up with the front grillwork of the car. It was a balance of symmetry. If you look at the pics of the 67 - 68 - 69 you can see the evolution that led to the very familiar twin scoops on the W25 hood. When the Cutlass / 442 was restyled in 1973 it went back to the center hood frenched cutouts. I know that 442much has a twin scoop hood on his 1976, but I believe it's aftermarket? But he still has the original hood and trunk.
The last Cutlass Hurst Olds (G body) cars that I'm aware of with a hood scoop is the 1983/84 HO. That's about the only style of hood scoop that might look good on a 68, but you'd end up spending big bucks to do it.
ARe you planning a hood modification to your car or did you see someone who has done the mod already. There are tons of possibilities for anyone who wants to modify their car. The only thing is, if you want it to look stock, there's not a single 68 442 that came out of the factory with a twin scoop hood. 1968 was also the first year I can remember Hurst modifying any Oldsmobiles. Before that they were sponsors for Plymouth Chrysler.

I have seen a few 68, 69s with the 70 OAI hood and I thought 1 of them looked pretty darn good it was red w blk stripes. Heck I have seen a 70 with 70 firebird formula scoops and a 71 with a 76 TA shaker on it - seen all kinds of variations

I think if the gap inbetween the scoops is centered with the point on the grill it'll look bad ***!!!

Got an idea for you. If you want to see what it'll look like before you have to chop any metal, Maybe ask Jon whose been doing these cool sig pics if he can take your car pic and use photoshop to put the scoops on so you can see how it will look. you'll need at least 2 or 3 pics with the alignment of the cars in the same direction. Anyway, it's just an idea....
