Getting closer.

Installed the carb and fuel line from the pump to the carb, replaced some vac lines, hooked up the few wires that needed hooked up (oil pressure, carb something-or-other, temp sending unit) and put my fat elbow on the temp sending unit and bent the little metal "tang" thing down. Might need to replace that! All I need is the choke stove gasket which will be here Tuesday. I am crossing my fingers that this all goes well when it's time to hit the ignition switch. Wish me luck!

If possible, don't bend that electrical "little tang thing" back. If you can connect the wire to it without bending it back do so as those things are brittle and it may break.
