Hard to say what it's worth, but looking at the pics, no interior, no top, needs body work, frame unknown cond, engine and trans unknown condition, needs interior work, but a mostly complete appearing car that's not a total rot box I'd say 2-4k$

now if the engine is just rebuilt w receipts, the correct 68 buckets seats are included, it's a 4 speed w good console, and the frame is in good condition. I would offer 5-6k$

as it sits its 10k and lots of sweat equity away from being a nice driver!

68 worth

The frame has rust on the horn ends and there is no seats but 4 speed console is there has the door panels and I believe back seat. Motor has been rebuilt but been sitting awhile. And heads have been removed and just set back on with out new gaskets. No pics of trans yet
Has new top in box with glass back window.book stars at under 1500 for number 6 but bops well over 8 for number 5. I personally dont think it worth more than 4000. Plus shipping well over 5000 just to bring it home.

That's a tough one. I'll say $2500 to the right buyer.

That one makes me tired just looking at it! Though it maybe a fun project if you're up for it- LOTS of time and $$$. It can be done, of course.

You are missing a lot of pieces. Bucket seats, a gauge in one of the dash holes. Transmission, bell housing, flywheel, clutch, clutch linkage, pedals and shifter.......if the car is actually a 4 speed car. The engine shown has a flywheel for an automatic so, the crankshaft probably needs machining for the manual transmission bearing. You also don't know the condition of the convertible top mechanical stuff. Looks like "bits and pieces".

Let me begin by saying that I'm not here to beat up the sale of this car. I have a major weak spot for '68 442 convertibles and have been known to pull them out of the ground in the past.

Looks like this one got hit relatively hard in the rear drivers corner and then the front driver bumper and fender got smooshed right after (the accordion effect). Frame might be ok yet the quarter panel is pushed and shoved which may have rippled through all surrounding body lines.

Trunk appears to be solid - hopefully no numb nuts have screwed up the lock cylinder hole. If hood is solid that's a huge bonus.

The motor looks like a 350 - so it might not be interesting to a 442 builder. Maybe seperate car sale from motor sale?

In my opinion it's right on the border of being a great parts car - if the frame is toast I'd say it's almost definitely a donor car.

Missing a lot of parts and needs some heavy body work.... My guess is the value is tops $2000 probably less. It's a beautiful car and deserves to live on as a restoration or organ donation. I may be interested if the price was right. Transportation from CO is a killer.

Thanks guys, I had same feeling about car. The list of stuff either missing of need attention makes me want to pass, especially for his 5000 dollars asking price.

I sold one for 10 years ago for $3500 in similar condition. Auto, Saffron, black top, pearl gut, Numbers matching on the important items, It ran but didn't drive. I even took off some things for myself. It was a parts car period. Rotted in half.

I would call it a parts car that if you were determined enough and had deep enough pockets , it is fixable. being a 68 owner and knowing what the parts are worth and how hard some of these parts are to find and how hard a parts car is to find these days, without looking at it in person, yes it is worth $3500 to $4000 with the parts that are included, all day long ,hell I'm interested, care to provide his contact info? it was obviously not an original 4 speed car as it has an auto console mounting bracket still mounted on the trans tunnel in case you didn't notice.
