Th350 kick down cable?

Where does the kickdown cable connect for a th350 transmission? I believe it is the carberator, not sure. The original th400 cable connected at gas pedal? Thanks

TH400 has an electric kickdown. TH350 on the 69-72 cars goes to the pedal. 73 and up to the carburetor.

To add to Randy's response, the accelerator pedal for the 69-72 cars with TH350 is different from those used with other transmissions. The TH350 pedal has an extra tab for the kickdown cable. This tab conflicts with the electric switch used on the TH400 and Jetaway, so you can't mix them.

Now my .02, if your not a stickler for originality, you can install a universal carburetor/ manifold mounted kickdown cable.

So then, it's a 69 car with a 73 motor and transmission it should go to carburetor?

It should go to wherever you want. The factory style routing to the accelerator pedal is completely independent of the engine. It does require the correct accelerator pedal. If you choose instead to run it to the carb, does your carb have the correct feature on the throttle arm to pull the cable correctly?
