Car Shows

I went to the Elks Lodge in Glendale, California today and saw some real nice rides.

Of particular interest was a 1968 Cutlass Hurst Olds with a 455. I hope you enjoy...

Thanks for sharing the pics. I can't help but notice the Chevelle stripes on the Cutlass convertible deck lid.

Yeah, some people are like that. Go figure. There's probably a Chevelle out there somewhere with a W-25 OAI hood.

“Chevelle Stripes on Olds

Guys & Dolls, convertibles did come with deck stripes and they were option. They were always on convertibles call ever on hard tops they could be option but it’s rare. The 1972 Hurst Olds always had them.

You guys must be Democrat’s Worse yet, mayor Pete supporters. Why don’t you respond with an answer instead of a smear. My parents built these cars from 1966 to 1999 at the Lansing cutlass final assembly. I worked at Fisher body from ‘81-‘84. Try this out. How many of you wilmas can you that you ordered a hurst olds, followed the car with pics from chassis at fisher body, to Oldsmobile all through the assembly line with pics, loaded her car personally onto the plant car hauler with pics, to the dealership with pics, and still have that H/O to this very day?! Look for that story coming in 3 major car mags. So what’s YOUR interesting story besides being stupid? Vote for Trump 2020!!

Since I can't help myself...

You might want to start off by proofreading your post so that your sentences are coherent. Secondly, you jump right into membership by refuting very knowledgeable people. Third, you've violated forum rules by going political and hurling insults. Did you just call members "wilmas"? Good grief, man.

Yeah, guy jumps a year old thread to tell people how they are wrong. Olds did not do trunk stripes on those A bodies. No Hurst Olds went from the line to the dealer; they all went to Demmer or Cars and Concepts or whatever the Hurst skunkworks was called at the time, and the 72 got the decal kit there. I doubt a Fisher body employee would have the training, the authorization, or the time, to go load a family member's car onto a trailer at the end of Final Assembly. Your story gets a score of Double Bullshit.

This makes no sense at all. The same goes for your other posts as well. Take deep breaths, think before typing, then proof read before clicking the Submit Reply button.
