Need opinion yay or nay

I知 getting close to paint 72 Cutlass s hardtop coupe. Going with a custom burnt copper paint. Black 442 striping. Resto mod non matching motor & trans. Simple question just for the finished look and I will let it ride for two week majority rules. I知 so on the fence with this. I知 getting the wing painted regardless just a matter if I知 drilling the deck.

Rear wing ?

It's your car so you can easily do what you want to your taste. Me choice personally is , I wouldn't wing it if it wasn't on your car from get-go. Bu then that's me.

Get another deck lid and drill it for the wing. If you want to put the wing on for parades or a show just swap the deck lid.

This idea is great, the best solution !!!!! Matching paint, now and forever.

That's great if you have room to store it safely and don't mind messing around swapping them out, but probably not practical for many.

I tend to lean towards having the wing...I installed one on my '70 and love the look but my '71 will remain wingless as it's more of an original survivor. If you like the wing, just do it!

Nay, they never came with a deck lid wing in 72. But then again it's going to be a resto mod so WTH, go for it.
