Those RVs were FWD weren't they? I thought they used the TH 425 out of a Toronado. Definitely cool rigs!

I love the way those things look! Even today they still look good. There used to be a nice one in the Heritage Center. And...Olds powered, how cool is that?

Ozzy liked it in "Ozzy and Jack tour America". Apparently Black Sabbath used one when they were touring. His son, Jack, didn't seem to impressed with it however.

Hagerty just had a short article on these last month. Pretty innovative for the time.

they have a weird airbag rear suspension.so if you do find one look them over good.they also have a real low floor,so very easy to get into.the one in the movie stripes was pretty cool,

They had a unique rear-end with no axles. They had four wheels, there was a set of two wheels (one in front of the other) mounted on each side w/ air suspension & leaf springs.

I have not owned one but back in the day, I talked with someone who did. He loved it but said that if you parked it on wet grass you were likely going to get stuck! Even as heavy as the engine and trans combination was, there was so much weight farther back that traction was a serious problem.
