Looking for the thread that mentioned

someone removing the wheel tubs on a 68 cutlass in order to tighten down and align the hood / hinges. Tired of trying to align it by opening and closing it over and over and not getting it right......have to replace the heater core as well so thought I would try the hood this way. Anyone else tried it? All my nuts and bolts are new so no big deal to r & r them.

Nope, not the one...someone mentioned they had laid on the floor and reached up under the hood ( with the hood closed) to tighten the hinge bolts while a helper made sure the hood was closed with the correct spacing ( they had the well tubs out for whatever reason........)

Try going out on Google with the search. Many times it will pull up the CO thread way better than the search feature here...wayyyyy better.
