"Joe" (uses multiple last names and can't keep his story straight is back on Ebay with two (2) 1971 "original 442 convertibles.
One '71 is a blue convertible listed for sale in Bellingham, Massachusetts.
The other is a '71 beige convertible listed for sale in Itasca, Illinois.
Both cars are described as original. Be careful! He has an answer for everything and a story for every car he tries to sell.
I was ready to buy a well documented 1972 U code, factory air convertible. The photographs looked perfect on Ebay. The car was described as being in excellent condition. When we saw the car, we were shocked. The car looked like it was hit with a shotgun blast and every panel needed work. Both lower front fenders were also repaired and who knows what work was need under the existing repairs to make the car right. There were other repairs needed, too long to list.
" Joe" provided at least two (2) different last names and multiple inconsistant reasons for selling.
Others members are familiar with this guy's BS.
I wouldn't buy a car from this guy under any circumstances.
