wide band O2 sensor?

wide band O2 sensor?
Has anyone installed a wide band o2 sensor and guage into your cab to monitor how rich/lean the car is running?
Had someone recommend me to get one. Or is there just a sensor one can put on the tail pipe to test when tuning?

You mentioned 30" down on passenger side. 30" down from the manifold?
Is your car a dual exhaust non crossover style?

if your running headers and true dual, about 4 inches or so back from collector. Manifolds, anywhere from 4-6 inches from manifold to down pipe. You can either weld a bung in the exhaust or they sell band clamp and you drill. I would weld to make sure no leaks. Basically at idle at close to sea level you want 14 to 14.7 to 1 ratio, cruising around 14-1 to 14.7-1. Wide open throttle, safer closer to 12.5-13-1. Great carb tuning aid along with setting up your distributor curve right you can optimize fuel economy and power and fix detonation problems
