Hi besides my 72 Cutlass I have a 64 Ranchero that I am currently installing a new electrical system. It has a 289 four barrel but is mostly stock from there. The previous owner done many bad make it work mods that I am currently trying to fix. Thanks for having me.

My other ride is a '69 Mercury Cougar convertible.
We picked it up in 2002. It's an Upstate NY survivor with (as far as we can trace) the original top, original interior, and about 1/3 of it's original paint.
I have made reversible changes to it. Edelbrock intake, Holley carb, complete suspension upgrade includind a power disc coversion, and a few other tidbits.
All changes were done in the "spirit" of keeping it stock.
Car took second place at the Cougar Club of America East Nationals in '04 & '05 in the stock convertible class.

Very nice Cougar my 72 cutlass came from Brockport NY. Hung with a bunch of Olds guys that had a Internet car club in the Rochester area. Olds"R'us went to many cruises with them.

I started buying cars in the mid-1980s when they were cheap. In addition to the '68 4-4-2 convertible (in the family since Feb '69 and came to me in 2007), I have a '69 4-4-2 convertible with 98K miles (a work in progress; bought in 1987 for $3500), a '70 GTO with 73K original miles (bought in 1986 for $2300), and a '71 Corvette (all mechanicals rebuilt at 122K miles; bought in 1978 for $4500). They are all actually too much to handle, but I can't stomach the thought of selling any of them! If you look hard at the picture, the '69 is back in the shop, barely visible. I like to keep it in the GM family!

One thing I have noticed with Olds owners is that most are open to other makes of vehicles. As opposed to a lot of Chevy owners.
Must be the rebel in us.

Well my daily driver is an 88 thunderbird. It looks like a turbo coupe (if anyone knows what that is), but it has a 5.0 in it. It's a little rusty underneath, but heck its a beater for the winter.

Actually, there are lots of "other" cars that appeal to me. But I don't think I'll ever work my way far enough down the list to get one.
And honestly, I'm so far into Oldsmobiles that I don't want to dilute my time, efforts, and resources elsewhere.

I agree with wmachine in that it keeps life simpler if one only has to learn how Oldsmobiles are put together, not other manufacturers too. Better yet, if someone has the self control (which I don't!) and can focus on one or two years they can become an expert with those cars. I've spent a lot of time with the 1970-72 vintage Cutlass/442 so that if my car makes a "funny noise" or a hiccup I can pretty much visualize what it might be as I've taken several of these cars apart and put things back together again. I've also collected enough spare parts that I may be able to make a repair just with what I have in the garage.

Define old, I had a bunch, includinng a 62 and 63 impala, 65 malibu, 74 cutlass and a 76442, 69 skylark 4drht, a 71 skylark vert, a 71 bronco and a few others. Living in WI most of them were either rust up to the door handles or bondo ed to hades. Now all I have anymore is a mid eighties import that I am planning on puting a SBC into if I can find a manual trans setup cheap. the ones I wish I still had was the 67 lemans, and the bronco, and the 69 buick, they were the only ones worth having for anything other than parts. Still I miss them all.

well lets see...in my stable of horsepower we have a 49 caddy fleetwood (some assembly required)a 62 starfire coupe,63 98 custom sport coupe and parts car,63 98 convert in midnight mist,63 98 in red and a parts car in blue,63 98-6 window (in need of help or a good parts car),a 1993 olds 98 touring sedan,a 1995 chubby sub-burbon with four wheel drive and totally loaded (for the towing and hauling of family) and the wifes 2002 olds bravada.
I know there should be more but having kids got in the way so when they move out in decades to come we can add to the fleet or at the least finish what we got.

I have a '71 442 that I have restored and plan to take on the Hot Rod Power Tour this year. I also have a '69 Camaro that I did a complete retore on. Also a '71 Chevelle SS454 triple black that is real nice. My Aunt gave me some years ago her '53 Chev 210 Sedan; 54000 miles-a real time capsule. I also have a '75 Trans Am and a '69 olds Cutlass S that I have redone and plan plan to sell both. I evidently never saw a car I didn't like! Wait! I also have an '82 GMC Jimmy 4wd that I use most everyday.

The only one that is MINE is my 72 satellite wagon in my sig.
Then my dad has his 60 plymouth savoy, which like my wagon was bought new

1978 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 with a LS1 / 4L60e from a 2004 GTO.
Car is painted in 1996 Grand Sport Corvette colors, with a Baldwin Motion paint theme.
Custom rims, 4" sidepipes, C5 front brakes, Hotchkis suspension, etc.
