Hey all,

I'm trying to identify the name of this part (see picture). It seems to be loose and letting oil seep out when running. Any help is greatly appreciated.

they had a problem of leaking around the crimped area where metal meets plastic. if its not loose in the threaded hole,replace the unit and use some Teflon paste or Permatex on the threads

It looks like a single wire sender which means it grounds through the block, therefore I wouldn´t suggest Teflon (just made this experience myself, mad readings).
Normally a NPT thread doesn´t need additonal sealing.
