MCACN show this weekend - 68 H/O presentation at 3 pm
This Saturday at MCACN, Karl Sarpolis (68 H/O advisor) is giving an informal talk with Q&A on the 68 H/Os at 3 PM at the H/O display. I figured it would give all the Olds folks on this forum a time and place to meet up and talk Olds if you are interested. We could do it at 6 PM as well but I think the show will be pretty thinned out by then.
Reasons all you Oldsmobile lovers should be at the show:
The best group of W-31s youll ever see together
Each variant of production 68 H/Os represented including a convertible (sorry, they are still all silver)
69 H/O prototype being unveiled after restoration
69 H/O race car in barn finds
70 W-31 full restoration unveiling (Steve Minores)
Other Olds throughout the show - I think 442Fred has a W-30 in the MASCAR display, WTHIRTY1 has a gold W-31 in vintage certification, Eric is bringing the boost to barn finds with a Jetfire... there are more Im missing at this point.
Hope to see a bunch of you there!

I will do my best to make it there and possibly drag Paul away from the Ford display. The car I will have in the MASCAR booth is my triple black 442 convertible, linden car built 3 week of August 1969. It now features an aluminum 455, W27 rear and for drivability 5 speed legend gear trans.

I have the car and engine loaded and ready to go. Really looking forward to the show. I will have to slip away from the Jetfire for a while this trip. Last trip with the 62 I never left the car. Had people lined up wanting to ask questions and was hard to walk away from them.
