Changing from Edelbrock back to Quadrajet. Need advice and parts.
So I’ve decided to dump my boggy edelbrock 1407 and go back to a quadrajet. I bought the restamped 0256 carb that BsiegPaint was discussing here. https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...d-restamp.html.
My motor is a 1968 high compression 2bbl 10.25:1 small valve C heads, now with edelbrock performer manifold and carb. I know I need to change my throttle cable and bracket as well as my fuel line from pump to carb. As these are all aftermarket pieces now. Are these reproduced? My fuel line is specific to 1968 because of the angle of the fitting on the fuel pump.
Is there anything else on that carb I would need to change to work better in my application? I also would need to change to an electric choke as my manifold has no provision for the factory setup. Is that an easy swap?
As usual any advice is appreciated.

Inline Tube will have most of the parts you need. Electric choke conversions should be readily available on EBay. Do a search on here about wiring it. You want to do it through the oil pressure sensor (IIRC) rather than having it get juice whenever the key is turned
