1967 Delta 88 Custom Cowl Tag?Vin Decode

I just recently bought a 67 Delta 88 Custom and wanted some help decoding the cowl tag/Vin. The car had two previous owners with 84K original miles.

Can do most of the cowl tag:

12D = fourth week (D) of December (12) build date. This is December 1966.
67 = model year
3 = Oldsmobile
54 = Delta 88 Custom
87 = Holiday Coupe (2-door hardtop)
BC = Southgate, California assembly plant
826 = "unit number" at that plant
343 = ? = blue interior?
DD = upper and lower body colors, both Crystal Blue
C60 = air conditioning

I have a close cousin to your car, a '67 Delta 88 convertible. Let's see some more photos of yours.

Actually, my car several codes on the body cowl tag that I've never been able to determine what they mean.

05D = Fifth week of May 1967 build date
67 = model year
3 = Oldsmobile
58 = Delta 88
67 = convertible
LAN = Lansing plant
642 = unit number
Paint Y = saffron yellow body color
Paint 8 = yellow convertible top
378-C = ??? for the 378, C = custom sport front seat
W = tinted windshield
2T = power antenna
2R = rear speaker
5H = ?
5Y = deluxe seat belts

In addition to the 378 and 5H codes, I also don't know what the D in the upper right just above and to the right of the N in LAN stands for. I think stray letters like the D have been seen on other tags and have never been decoded. Seems like the 378 and the 5H should be decodable, but so far I've had no luck.

Nice car. You should have fun with it. I saw your newbie thread, and I had some more comments about it there.

I like it, looks to be a 2bbl carbed 425, single exhaust and the low compression engine evident by the black air cleaner.,
