Looking into 17" tires for my car. Save my 14's for show duty & get radials to drive on every day. I like to use my car on the highway & the belted tires are wearing on me.
Want to maintain close to the same overall height. Unfortunately, not that many choices in matched sets since I want wider in back.
I found three options. Kuhmo (currently out of stock), Falken, & Riken

If you went 235/55/17 all around that's a popular mustang size so lots of choices of tires or if you want staggered I would try and find a more popular rear tire size for more choices, I don't have any experience w those brands but I let the tire guy talk me into fuzion brand one time and I wasn't happy w the quality of them I equate fuzion Riken kumho ( what kind of name is that ?) and falken the same

I have Falken Azenis FK453's our both our Pontiac G8's , nice ride and handling, stick really well . However, I like the BFG's on our Cutlass thou. They seem to last for 6 years no problem while maintaining a nice handling/riding car throughout the 6 summers before installing new ones

I cannot vouch for any of the brands you listed but I can vouch for Discount Tire. It is the only place I consider when buying tires and over the last 30+ years I have bought thousands of dollars of tires there. It is a privately held company and the guys that work there love the company.

I couldn't pull the trigger on off brand tires. I got Generals from Discount Tire Direct through EBay and went one size down. 225/55 on 17x7 & 245/50 on 17x8. Overall height is withing a half inch of what I had. More pics posted in the sticky thread.

Just to put it out there, tirebuyer.com is a good tire site, better pricing than Tire Rack. I ended up with Toyo Extensa HP II in W speed rate for $325 after rebate with free shipping. My 2015 Camaro SS needed tires as well. Ended up with Sumitomo's from NTB for $625 out the door. So far they ride great and have done well in rain.

Another option is Amazon. I bought my sister 2 tires for her Volvo once for less than $100. Of course, they were so cheap I would never consider putting them on my Olds. Or my Kias or truck for that matter.

I used Discount Tire on EBay this time because I had a 15% off coupon that worked plus they had a $75 rebate. Came out to $345 (after rebate) for everything shipped to my door. For comparison, Tire Rack would be $540 for the same set up.

Going up in speed rating def has me going down the rabbit hole. I find myself pricing tubular control arms and quicker ratio steering boxes.
