Product Review - Thormton Guru Colors Trunk Floor Kit
Recently used this on my 442. My pan was in good shape with some surface rust. I wanted to address it before it became a bigger problem. I bought on EBay where they ship three cans on gray base paint & one can of the aqua speckle paint. I was doing it on a rainy day so i used some work lamps to assist in drying. I was very pleased with how quick it dried. My quarters & wheel wells were in good shapw so I just did the floor. I prob used about two cans of the gray in doing about two coats. I cleaned the floor up 1st. I was happy with how the rust cleaned up so i used a gray high build primer. The speckle paint is a little tricky to apply. I read to hold the can at least 6" away but that made it streaky looking. The can needed to be much farther and you kind of spritz it on. All in all I'm pleased but will know better with the speckle paint if there is a next time. They say it does not need to be cleared and is waterproof. Time will tell.
Starting point - not sure what the green is. It seemed like some sort of dried foam. It turned to dust when I scraped it.

Final product. I don't think it looks quite so streaky in person. The flash reflects the Aqua and accentuates it. Hopefully one I get the jack & spare back in it will break it up a little
