Those with rotisserie experience

I ordered a rotisserie and should have it in a week or so. I am doing a frame of restoration on a Rallye 350.

For those of you that have used a rotisserie on an cutlass/442: How are you mounting it in the back. The front body mount under the firewall looks like where most people do it and should be plenty strong. In the rear is looks like most people mount to just the rear body mount as shown in this photo of a chevelle:

I am thinking I would feel better if the rear of the body was mounted to more than this. Perhaps to that rear mount and to the next mount further forward as well?

Looking for input from those with experience.

I should also note that I am not replacing any floor pans or anything like that, so structural integrity of the shell is not an issue.

Thanks!

Pat

Those rear body mounts are plenty strong to hold your car. I used them when I did my 66.

My Rallye is currently on a rotisserie at the body shop and it is mounted at the front and rear mounts. Seems strong enough to me.

it'll be fine front and rear body mounts. Depending on what rotisserie you may have to lengthen the width of the mount or order the correct mounts. I just made mine

Here are a couple pics of my 70 442 convertible mounted on a rotisserie at the body shop. It was that way for something like six months with no issues at all

Mines been bolted to the frame mounts for awhile now, no problems. My only concern was for the convertible body folding up so I've added several braces. All is well.

Thanks to everyone who spoke up, I really appreciate it!!

Any idea what a bare 70 cutlass shell weighs? I bet it cannot be more than 500-700 pounds?

How about the weight of a bare frame?
