I had a 1965 442 also. I got drafted into the Army and left it at my moms house when I went overseas. That way I would have a car when I got home. If I didn't make it then it wouldn't matter. I owed some money on the car so the credit union where I was working at the time convinced my mom that because I wasn't paying on it they were going to take it back. I loved that car. When I read the 2 posts about finding their old cars it gave me a little hope. I still have the vin numbers but don't know where to look or who to ask. If you have that investigators number or email address I can contact him. Thank you very much. The vin for my 65 442 was 338375Z109842. If anyone knows of this car please let me know right away. It means allot to me. Even now. JIM

Curious and not trying to come off as an Ahole, if you had money owed and missed payments, didn't they have a right to repo it?

hire a private investigator,,,they have ways...

or just google the VIN...i know a guy that found his high school w-30 by just googling the VIN

oldcutlass, At that time federal law stated that if you were drafted into the nations armed services your payments would be deferred until you returned or were KIA. If you wanted to you could just pay on the interest. I only received $78.00 dollars a month back then. Take care. JIM[/FONT]

Or if you were comfortable with it, post the vin or a portion of it here. People could look at their car to see if someone by chance has it.

My 1970 442 had four owners before me. The first only had it six months, then he sold it before going overseas.
