2018 Spring Carlisle
Spring Carlisle is April 18-22. Who is going and who will have parts for sale?
Weather has been cold and wet recently so I hope it dries, no mud, and warmer temperatures.

We'll be in out usual NA64-65 spots, just inside Gate 3, from Tues afternoon to Sat evening. Unfortunately I've got to be on travel this week, so I don't know how much time I'll have to gather parts for next week. Temps are trending upwards for that week.

I usually go on Thursday weather depending. Last year it was beautiful weather but reports I got and my own observation was that vender numbers were down. There were a lot of empty spots. Still a fun day and always need something from Fusick. Maybe I will find my 67 wagon door glass or a nice tailgate.

I'm setting up here at Carlisle and it's freaking snowing (ok, technically it's sneet...). Should we change the name to Winter Carlisle?
Good news is that the rest of the week should be nice. Wednesday will likely be the best of the bunch for weather.

Not going to make it this year. Today (Thursday) is the only day I have open this week and it is raining this morning in central PA. Carlisle weather forecast shows 40s and windy. I will plan on Fall Carlisle.

Went today, a few vendors it seems didn't even bother to uncover their stuff. The weather was not horrific, there were on and off spits of rain, a bit of sun and temps in the 40's and a wind. Didn't need much, saw the usual Olds vendors there including Fusick. I would say it was a typical Carlisle event that would have been a bit better if the weather was a bit better.

I have to disagree. Today's weather sucked. Kept raining off and on, and then the wind picked up. It was COLD. Very few buyers, I suspect because they all saw the same weather predictions that Fri and Sat would be much nicer.
I found a complete factory disk brake setup that my friend bought for his 69 F85 for $100. I've bought a bunch of tools, a door for my 86 truck, electrodes and collets for my TIG, and two pairs of new front shocks for my 62 for $25 for all. So far it's been a good meet - well, for buying anyway.

An update for Sat AM. Friday was awesome. The fairgrounds were packed and most vendors I spoke with said they had a good day. Today is shaping up to be a good day also, but crowds are down from Friday. I scored a brand new set of Hedman 58150 headers for a BBO for $50 and a 7029253 Qjet core.
