Why not?? They're pricey and worth redying, How is the lid hinge mount? That's what usually breaks...

As long as the lid mount is in good shape.
The chrome around the lid should clean up well.
The trim around the front can be sanded and polished to a show finish.
When applying the SEM vinyl and plastic paint, the secret is very light coats,I mean very light, this stuff runs easy.
A new chrome with new woodgrain.
Can have a show quality console with some work.

I have always wondered about reflocking the plastic liners though.

Blue consoles are a lot less common than black.. I'd clean it up, and look to sell/trade for the best black one I could find. Good luck.

Rather then to take the time to find someone to buy/trade with, and that console is in overall good condition, I would recommend to dye it and use it... As far as I know there are no distinguishing identifiers on the console relative to color therefore no relationship to originality... JMO...

I missed out on it. Guy was too far so I didn't have a chance to go see it. Someone else bought it. Thanks
