When I turn on the heater in my 70-442, it blows warm,

When I turn on the heater in my 70-442, it blows warm,

but within 10 seconds or so the air gets cooler. Any idea on the issue?

That doesn't help as 442's came with or without A/C.

My guess is that you are low on coolant if the heat is disappearing that quickly. There could also be an issue with the heater control valve (if the car came with A/C).

The root cause is low coolant flow through the heater core.

You were asked about A/C or non-A/C because A/C has an extra component in the system--a shutoff valve on the intake manifold--that may fail.

Coolant level is full

I assume it must be the valve. Where is this valve located? On the passenger side rear area of the intake?
