"Positive for jhoppe Olds , and "The best packaging award"
The early sixties Olds had dashboards made of diecast zinc (potmetal) .
They are very fragile . My dashboard was damaged while in storage . So I needed one .
I called John , and he had one . Already out of the car $30 . It was even the right color and the paint looks good .
He said , " Shipping is gonna kill you " . Well , I understood shipping was probably going to be at least twice what the very reasonable price of the item was . It was only $65 .
But the packaging floored me .

The dashboard was encased in a styrofoam "coffin" , surronded by a cardboard box .
The first photo shows the "coffin" with the lid closed , after opening the box.
Second photo shows the "coffin" open , and all the packing material in place .
Third photo shows the dash with the packing material removed .
