New guy from Washington state

Yep, new to the Oldsmobiles. I have had about every other make made by GM most of them Pontiacs with a couple Buick T types tossed in and a GMC Typhoon. I still have my 67 400 Firebird and the typhoon. I bought this car Feb 13 of this year. Its a project but I would like to have it done in time to make the local BOP drag race/show and shine.

My first olds is a 1964 F85 convertible, 330, 2sp auto. The 330 ran good and the transmission worked good but I replaced them with a 69 455 that I warmed up a little and a turbo 350 with a shift kit and 2400 stall torque converter.

I need some parts for it.

Driver side fender
passenger side headlight bezel and fender eye brow trim.
Rocker moulding

Welcome to the site. Nice to see another Washington state guy. We are growing in numbers. Sounds like you have a nice car. Post some pictures. I have a well warmed over 455 in my 57 need to get it to the track this year to see what she will do, at least once anyway.

Cool, I'm over on the other side of the sound, but bremerton is the track of choice for me and my friends... I'll have to keep an eye open for ya this spring/summer.

I'll be running my work truck again this year untill I get the F85 and the 67 Bird finished. Its a white 2001 Dodge ram quad cab 2500 4x4. Sounds funny but it runs 12.80's at 108. Gotta love 586 hp and 1135 fpt at the rollers. Not a Hemi a Cummins.

Im too retarded to post piscures on here, I made an attempt and failed. I freshened up the 455 and added a Mondello 22-25-110 cam, comp rocker stud conversion kit with roller rockers, that new air gap intake manifold from performance products with a 780 vacuum secondary carb, headers and some 2.5" twice pipes. I also ground the air injection bumps out of the exhaust ports on the C casting heads.

I found a 64 cutlass 2 door post out in South Hill at a salvage yard today, lots of parts left on it but nothing I need except maybe the core support and some. The car has a rust free trunk and quarters on it.

Which So Hill yard ? I live on So Hill. Don't need much for my 65 but would be fun to look.
