4 door interchange 2door

70 Cutlass floor

If a removed a floor from A 71 4 door cutlass will it work for a 72 cutlass convertible floor ? I looked at the two and seems very close

4 door interchange 2door

I have 71 4door with pristine floor and trunk, would Ithe floor pans be interchangeable with a 70 conxertible?

Nope. The 68-72 A-body 2dr cars used a 112" wheelbase. The 4dr cars used a 116" wheelbase. Floor pans are different as a result. You MIGHT be able to cut patches for the front seat footwell area, but that's about it. The trunk floor can be used.

Joe is right. they're different, however you can use the floor from about the back of the front seat forward and the trunk floor is the same on two or four doors. there are small differences between 70 and 71, but nothing that would stop you from using it. ~BOB

From what I have seen, the floor pan, front half, will replace a two door. The back half I plan on using for my two door 70 but will modify the panel as as need.
