Congrats. This car was discussed over on Facebook. The C heads are obviously incorrect, but it looks like the other W-30 equipment had been on the car since it was born. I'm always skeptical of new, shiny repro red inner fenders, and these are not. Unfortunately, the correct D heads won't be cheap.

Very nice
Is the engine block original if not that would be the reason the D heads are no longer on the car. The big block with a stick the rod bearings did not stand a chance.
Do you mind sharing what you paid for the car?

I have the same car just not a W car

invoice shows paint "DD" a '68 paint code for "sapphire blue"

is it "53" "Nassau blue" - has it been painted?

Look at the cowl tag for the paint code.
Then look at the underside of the truck lid and door jambs.
You can also pull off the door panels and rocker sill plates.

Great car:-)

I have a very similar W-Machine, build at the same plant the same week:-) Mine is the little brother W31 Cutlass S Sports Coupe.

Our trim tags are very similar, 03B build date, 33677 body style (your VIN shows 442) B90 trim:-) (My favorite option)

Send me a PM so I can help in any way.

Ryan
