Zinc Yellow Chromate

Im starting in on rebuild of my Rochester 7041257. Seen many photos of high $ restoration on a Rochester that shows to body with a Zinc yellow Chromate. Ive had my carb sitting in a bucket of solvent for a month so its cleaned up. There is no sign of Zinc yellow Chromate. Did some Rochester get out without this Yellow and is this Zinc yellow Chromate just an HE SAID SHE SAID that they all got it?

Maybe a PO already cleaned the carburetor & the yellow chromate was removed, or a PO bought a used carburetor which didn't have a yellow chromate treatment when rebuilt, or the yellow chromate has simply worn completely off. Toss of the coin, but I believe all Rochester carbs were cold treated with yellow chromate.
