Cement guy e-mailed me a few days back and said he thinks he could make it work. After I said no to the additional $2000.00.
Too late already poured a slab for the patio. Garage drives will have to wait.

Mr. $4500.00 offer said he wants it just has to sell his Buick.
Probably not going to hold my breath.

Thinking about buying some nicer looking wheels and taking better pics.
Not everybody has my curse. "Eye for potential" LOL

Had one of my 63 Galaxie XL converts for sale years ago. Same thing, a guy said he had to sell his Cougar or something first. Down the road I sold the car, which was in really nice shape, for the whopping amount of around $1800 (I think it had cost me that much to put it on the road again !!). Anyway, around 3 or 4 months later I get a call from this fellow. He had finally sold his car and wanted to come and get the Galaxie. He couldn't believe I didn't save it for him, and I couldn't believe he thought I was going to. Guess we had a mis-communication. Hope your fellow gets a sale soon on his Buick. Maybe it's a GS and it will go quickly !!

Dude! Sit on it for the winter - by spring I may have the cake and space to bring it into the fold!

You never know?
I planned to buy you a beer when the Goodguys were in town. No hard sell but I was hoping you'd fall in love with it.
It would be cool to see a fellow ClassicOlds guy end up with it.

Got one bite with my new pictured CL ad.
Had fun driving it to drop off and pick up my son @ his tennis practice tonight.

Well the Mrs. started her new job today. I am on the fence as to weather I will continue to attempt to sale or not.

And I am rather tempted to trade for these......

Just when things were looking like just maybe I should keep the Olds.
My dad get lost in his Tacoma pu. He has Alzheimers and I ended up taking away his truck, which was no fun. It was also an expense (paying my parents full value) I was not wanting right now. Family 1st so I made a deal and sold the Cutlass.
Can't look back but do feel odd today. (it left last night) I actually came close to breaking even which unfortunetly was selling it below its value.
(don't ask) But it did free up a stall and maybe now I can clean the dang shop.

In life when one door closes another opens. The one constant thing in life, it's subject to change.

Hey Nonhog,
The way this economy is heading, you may find you can buy it back it in a few years, for half what you sold it for !!
Be strong, chow for now.

Oh yeah, got to find the positives in life. Now cleaning the shop will be easier. Maybe finish the insulation, sheet rock, etc. etc.
One day I'll seek out the 68 Cutlass hardtop that I really want.
Still have my 455

the shop....... http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=33742

I always thought I'd find another 58 Fairlane 2 dr ht with the 352 Intercepter Special. I sold mine in the mid eighties, and still haven't even seen another one.
Also wouldn't mind another 70 GTO convert. There's an old guy driving one around town here. He's so old, he makes my dad look young, but I can never seem to catch him. Always going fast the other way !!
