Seat belt restore

This is for a ‘65 club coupe...
are these seat belt’s worth saving and restoring any part of?
Everything’s kinda cracked and rusted...do they sell good replacements?
Is there anything here that I CAN’T replace?

The webbing is too stained to save but the plastic parts can be resprayed with vinyl dye. The chrome can be replated at great expense, I would look for some decent replacement hardware. It may take gathering random pieces from various used sets to get the quality you want.

A note on webbing, the new webbing used by most restoration shops is thinner and has a waxy feel to it. If you want the thicker original webbing send me a PM. I can help you out.

Using a pressure washer on the webbing can do wonders for restoring webbing. Use a fan type spray pattern and it can drive out the dirty and crusty contaminants that cause the belts to be stiff and discolored. Your retractor plastics are a bit a bused but the rest doesn't look bad at all for a driver. If you are going for "like new" restoration, then NOS or nearly new is the best bet.
