Rear window metal trim piece

I have a 72 Cutlass S and I want to get a new piece of metal trim that's behind the package tray which the rear window dies into. I'm not sure exactly what the piece is called, I saw it referred to as the rear window panel trim. I ordered 2 new package tray corners which fit on each end of this piece. Mine is pretty pitted. Any suggestions where to find this piece would be appreciated. Also, are there any tricks to getting that piece out, maybe I can sand blast it and coat it if I can't get a new one.

If you are talking about the long metal piece tht runs on the inside right below the rear window I have bad news for you. It is welded in and it takes window removal and cutting out and re welding. I am guessing a good rust free donor car would be your best bet. Not going to be fun but I would take that over my lower window shield channel that is rusted out. Good luck

Thanks 72notchbach, I was afraid of that. I couldn't see any way to remove that piece. Just in case I was missing something, I figured I would ask the forum. Thanks for responding!
