Rear end I.D.

Rear end I.D.

I have this rear end in the parts car I have. I checked and it is a limited slip/posi. Seems to be highway gears maybe 2:56? Can anyone give more details on this? Obviously not an O type.

Looks like a Chevy 8.2 10 bolt

Pictures of the side of the center section and close up of where the brake line connects would help.

Thanks for the info, Ill try to get close up pic. Is there a way to tell the year of this? If both wheels spin in same direction does that confirm a posi? Thats what Ive done for years but is that a for sure besides taking the cover off?
