The Prettiest One Does It Again!!
She won in the Top 10 yesterday at Walton Hills!! Out of 134 beautiful cars and pick ups. I almost cried like a girl again, lol! I was really shocked. It was participant voting. We had to pick 5 from Original/Stock class and 5 from Modified class. There should be pics on Big Al's list from the show later in the year when someone gets around to putting them on. It's a nice show. We had to drive the cars up to the Flag circle thing to get a picture taken after the show. I know I looked like hell!! Hot and sweaty and hair all falling out of the clip, lol! As long as the car looked good, all is well!
Bluevista...... My friend Ed with that blue Rambler said he saw you at Chardon... Chagrin Falls? Somewhere over there, on Saturday. I was telling him you painted my engine, and got to telling him how beautiful your Vista is and he said he saw it! I think I introduced you to him at the Ox Roast last year? I don't remember. His rambler is in one of the pics below. He's a nice guy. It was a beautiful weekend for shows!
I have to pick up my Riverfront pic award from last Monday, tonight, if I have time. Teepo is very dusty and needs cleaned, so I don't know if I'll make it. I have to post a pic of my "Ladies Pick" picture that was taken Saturday in Hudson too. Anyhow, here are a few pics!! Guess what the first one is gonna be, lol!

Redgoatstiltskin wants his trophy booty.
I hate to say I told you so, but I told you so.
I also hate participant voting, all seem to be that way now. Lazy organizers if you ask me, no real car guys to be judges around anymore too, a lot of car buyers. The winners are usually the first cars there if they give out the judging sheets when you register.
The BOP show was okay becase they waited until registration was over then handed them out.
I went to Chardon Sunday and cruised around the square a couple of times to scout it out. The cars were pulled into the normal spots and had orange cones behind them. I don't like my butt sticking out in the road, and my butt really sticks out.
It was 12 bucks to park in public parking spots, plus there were old ladies selling flea market junk set-up.
I don't need no stinkin goose clothes, girls bending over wood garden things or any of those grotesque Boo-Hoo dolls. I still want to drop kick every one of those dolls I see.
I said forget it and cruised home, nice drive anyway. I detailed out the Grand Prix and stuck all the plastic cladding panels that fell off back on, did the yard.
I was at the church show on 306 Saturday, only went because a friend that goes there asked me to. I needed to cut my grass and hate leaving work behind when I play.
I left before they gave out the awards to get the yard done, that's the cool thing to do too, "Rebel without a stinkin' trophy".
Actually I get get sick of dusting all the things and me melting in the heat sitting there waiting for them, plus I like to beat the rush out of there afterwards.

Cutlassgal,
Congratulations on your trophy! I in no way, wish to diminish your excitement over this award, and the enthusiasm you are feeling with your particpation in these shows that you have been involved in. I understand and appreciate your pride in your oldsmobile. I must say that I do share in bluevista's assessment of the judging at these events. Most of the events that I have been to in the last several years are crowd judging and in my humble opinion, I haven't found that to be unbiased and particularly discerning. I also don't like sitting around in the hot sun all day long waiting for the judges to announce the winners. Car shows are becoming less and less attractive to me personally!
