Pcv valve location
Hi Guys and Gals,
This might sound like a stupid question, but here goes...
Which valve cover should the PCV valve be on? I have always seen it on the passenger side, but lately I have seen it on the driver's side valve cover..Does it make a difference which valve cover it's on?
Another question if I may...I am in the process of installing a new camshaft and lifters in my 67 442 and when I removed my valve covers, I found that on the right side or driver's side it had rust build up inside near the PCV baffle...nothing on the other side...Normal or possible issue?
Thanks

The location of the PCV valve doesn't matter. The factory changed sides over the years anyway. 1968 was on the passenger side, 1969 was on the driver's side, and 1970 went to the intake manifold (OK, on the W-30 and 4spd cars with O.A.I. and dual ventilation).
