I posted here to get the word out. Mods if that's a problem please move to the appropriate spot. As some of you may know from my 61 Olds 88 2 dr sedan thread I have a friend in Redbluff CA who has a 30 + year boneyard of Oldsmobile parts. He called me today to let me know everything must go by May 1st 2012. I'm going to be his internet middleman to get the word out. It's mostly 50's 60's early 70's to mostly full size stuff. is this a yard that the public can go to like a pick and pull? Its just a couple hour cruise from me and wouldnt mind going there and checking everything out...of course with a pocket full of cash.

I hope your friend can make a couple bucks before these relics are all gone. Really a couple well placed adds on Fleabay could help, if someone can pull the parts needed.

how many vehicles is there ?? i have 10 acres and would hate to see things scrapped or taken to a place like gm sport salvadge ( they try to rape you for
parts but sometimes you have no choice..) Its not to early to start planning where the remains will go... im in san diego

Good News! I'm going up there today! Better news, He's moving everything to another yard on consignment! My girlfriend and I are going up with an empty p/u truck and a pocket full of cash! I'm picking up another 455 block, maybe a 425, and a bunch of other stuff. He's moving pretty fast so I want to get there asap. I will post pics later this week.
