Lowering of the flag
Lowered our Flag in Honor of the 13 Military members who lost their lives in Afghanistan yesterday... SAD SAD DAY....

Yes, truly a sad day. Prayers sent out for the family and loved ones of those lost and to the soldiers still over there doing the best they can in a horrible situation.

All I'll say is this. It's like working on or restoring a car. A lot of heartburn can be avoided by good planning.
This didn't have to happen.

Spent 21 years in the military. It sadden me to see this much loss of life. Been in some really bad situations and taking gunfire. Hopefully it doesn't need to happen again.

And the loss of $85,000,000 or was that $85,000,000,000? Not to mention the technology that will be stolen. Lock and load is all I have to say.

Can we please keep this to be a respectable thread which I believe the original post was about? We can always point fingers at the other side, that opportunity will always be there. Let's not do that on this thread.

Am I the only one that was sent a PM from RandyS ranting about 75 million people being racist and white supremacist? I hope I’m not being singled out!

He has hit me in the past. I try not to engage him. There are very few places on the internet that allow political discussion, are safe for the people, and don't censor. I can only think of a couple, and I am really only sure about one of them.

YOU are the one trying to take it there.
I haven't forgotten that PM you sent me a couple years ago concerning power grids either. You know nothing about me but like most of your ilk you go on the offensive trying to shout down anyone who doesn't follow your dogma. I'm not the only one you've done that to.
I will also say I was around in the Carter administration when they botched their Middle East rescue with much the same results. American politicians have still not realised that you cannot negotiate with people who are stuck in the 8th century or expect them to adopt modern ideas.
Thankfully this site has an ignore list. You might be a nice guy but as far as I'm concerned you're a dogmatic jerk who's blinded by your ideology.
Again- this didn't have to happen. There are American families who are suffering because of politicians' incompetence- same as back in Vietnam era.
