Lost another Olds car guy and arts vendor

Got a call this afternoon that we lost another Olds car guy and a damn good, honest, Parts vender, Ken Reese. He had a heart attack yesterday and he was only 60 years old.

He sold parts shipped from his house/garage in Winter Haven and early on when I first met him in 1992 in Lakeland he had a store front. I bought a ton of parts (both for me and customers), mostly NOS, and he was very fair in his prices. If I paid cash he would knock off 10%.

R I P Ken!

Sorry to hear this. I was pleasantly surprised to see him at the Nats in Kingsport as well as Gettysburg. Always enjoyed talking to him. RIP.

I bought parts from Ken for over 20 years, and I was thinking of him this morning.....and I don't know why.

Great guy - honest, trustworthy, and always had great parts.

Wow, 60 is way too young.....Sad.

RIP Ken, and thanks for everything.

I was at the Nationals in Gettysburg. I'm sure i bought some stuff off Ken including an EC rad tag. So sad to hear. I enjoyed chatting with him. he had a good sense of humor and was a great guy to deal with. Very unfortunate for his family. May he rest in peace.
